Heartbreaking News: Right whale calf found dead from vessel strike.

 

Our worst fears have been confirmed: A right whale calf injured weeks ago by a vessel strike has been found dead in Georgia. Life had barely started for this baby whale – but sadly, it spent most of its short life suffering from terrible propeller wounds before succumbing to its injuries. This death is the direct result of failure by the Biden administration to expand commonsense protections for vulnerable right whale calves and mothers.
