Trump Attacks MeidasTouch in Midnight Mental BreakdownBy Ben Meiselas Donald Trump’s cognitive decline just took a turn for the worse. Apparently, MeidasTouch had something to do with it. In the span of about one hour around midnight on Monday, Donald Trump posted and reposted approximately 400 messages that included some of the most deranged conspiracies. But his first post, the one that set off the 400 posts that followed, was the video of the interview I did with former Attorney General Eric Holder on the MeidasTouch YouTube and right here on Substack. Trump’s post included an unhinged attack on the interview I did with former AG Holder and Holder’s call for reforming the corrupt Supreme Court. Trump demanded that Republicans abolish the filibuster based on what Holder was telling me.
Shortly after Trump made the post about MeidasTouch, there was a brief pause, and then he began making new posts every 10 seconds for a full hour, totaling about 400 posts. His posts included deranged claims that Michelle Obama “controlled Biden’s autopen” and that Biden’s executive orders were really done by Michelle Obama. Trump posted an AI video claiming Nicolás Maduro surrendered to him and that Trump was now controlling Venezuela, and that Maduro admitted the Tren de Aragua confessed Biden was the leader of their cartel. Trump made posts saying Canada was involved in election rigging. He made bizarre posts about Obama’s weekly “kill list.” I can go on and on, but you get the point.
Just as it is covering up the Epstein files, covering up war crimes, and covering up just about everything else, the White House is covering up the results of Trump’s MRI. Yesterday they produced some fabricated doctor’s note that doesn’t even resemble MRI results. Trump claims the MRI was not done of his brain since he passed a cognitive test approximately every three months — which, frankly, sounds like something someone with dementia would take or say. Trump’s dad Fred was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s when he was about Donald’s age, and it runs in Trump’s family. Trump’s cover-up of his MRI results combined with the behavior we are witnessing is disturbing. It is worth noting and reflecting on the fact that the MeidasTouch interview was the first post Trump made before going into his 400-post mental breakdown. It is also worth reflecting that when Trump appealed his criminal conviction, he cited MeidasTouch coverage as one of the grounds of media bias that he claimed deprived him of a fair criminal trial. I don’t think the extent of Trump’s rapid decline and his administration’s current collapse has fully been appreciated. I think December will be a very eventful month with far more deterioration than anyone expects. It’s becoming exponential with each passing day. This is why we need to keep the pressure on.
