I wanted to share some updates from our office with you before the weekend: I immediately filed a lawsuit against Donald Trump’s unlawful overreach into our elections when he attempted to restrict vote-by-mail for millions of Americans. I joined a coalition of 23 Attorneys General taking legal action against the EPA for working to destroy essential climate protections. I joined Governor Healey in rolling out a public portal to collect tips and information about potential instances of ICE misconduct here in Massachusetts. We’ve filed more than 50 lawsuits against this administration, but the work has only just begun. I am dedicated to protecting our communities and using every tool at my disposal to ensure Massachusetts has the resources we need to thrive. But this spring, a GOP opponent has entered this race to challenge this work. He is the far-right’s go-to lawyer, and if elected, he will be all too eager to erase the progress we’ve made.
