We’ve been saying this since the start: Mark Robinson is way too extreme for North Carolina. And now that Robinson is officially the GOP nominee, everyone’s been taking notice of his extremism… including MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow. In her words: “In a state that’s as closely divided as North Carolina, I think that Mark Robinson is a disaster.” Look, Mark Robinson is unfit for office based on his belief in conspiracy theories alone. He’s questioned everything from the 2020 election results to the Holocaust. He’s called teachers “wicked people” and a school shooting survivor a “paid actor.” Our upcoming election is the most consequential governor’s race of 2024 for one simple reason: Robinson is the most dangerous gubernatorial nominee anywhere.
