It is the great moral test of our time. Donald Trump went to the funeral of a 31-year-old man who was assassinated on a livestream seen by scores of millions of America’s young people, and he spoke out about who he hates. Think about that. He went to a funeral and gave a speech calling for civil war. He was far from alone. Of course, it wasn’t a funeral. It was a fascist rally. Donald Trump hates dissent. Donald Trump hates the freedom of speech. Donald Trump hates the rule of law. Donald Trump hates opposition. Donald Trump hates America because there is no way to hate half the country, and claim that you love the nation. During a quiet moment today, think about this piece of trash ordering the abuse of tens of thousands of human beings, while putting his bag of cash into the trunk. Think about the separated families. Gardeners, maids, farm workers, moms and dads, including some with kids in the military, who have been called criminals by Tom Homan and Kristi Noem over the last eight months. It turns out that the criminals work for the government. It turns out that they are high-level regime officials. It turns out that they are truly above the law.
