They were there for a propaganda session and photo op with some of the National Guard troops Trump ordered to occupy our nation’s capital. Talk about one of the worst trios ever. Someone from the crowd screamed “f**k you, JD Vance.” I’m booing them right now too. I’ve lived through 4 presidencies in DC. What Trump has done to the city warrants his immediate impeachment and removal. EPSTEIN Tomorrow, the DoJ will begin a partial release of hand-selected Epstein files to Congress. This is just part of the cover-up. We need everything—now. OBAMA BACKS CALIFORNIA Yesterday, former President Barack Obama endorsed California’s ballot initiative to redraw their congressional map. At an event this week, Obama called Newsom’s plan the “responsible approach.” Obama added: “We cannot unilaterally allow one of the two major parties to rig the game.” Absolutely right. THIS IS NOT NORMAL Texas State Rep. Nicole Collier—who has spent nearly three days locked in the state Capitol—joined a video chat with CA Gov. Gavin Newsom, Dem Sen. Cory Booker, and DNC Chair Ken Martin yesterday. Collier said: “We need all soldiers on deck, and so I'm not deterred by these intimidation tactics.” Collier was speaking from inside a bathroom at the Capitol. During the conversation, you could hear someone talking in the background, when Collier abruptly stated: “I have to leave. They said it's a felony for me to do this.” Newsom’s response when it happened, as seen above, says it all. I felt the same way. Newsom said: “This is not about parties … It's about holding the line. It's about protecting all of us … This is profound as it is precious, and we are going to fight back … and we're going to win.” Booker, calling the situation “outrageous,” said Rep. Collier “has more dignity than Donald Trump … what they’re trying to do right there is silence an American leader, silence a Black woman.” This should never happen in America, but it’s part of the cancer that is the Trump regime. A dictatorship that enables other tyrants like TX Gov. Greg Abbott to abuse their power. We must all stand together, and loudly push back against their tyranny. TEXAS RESISTS In the rotunda of the Texas Capitol yesterday, a flood of people protested against Trump’s scheme to steal US House seats. Dem Rep. Greg Casar showed up and gave an impassioned speech, saying: “They’re afraid … they can see amongst all of us, people being mobilized across the state of Texas—that have had it with a corrupt governor, a corrupt president, and a corrupt attorney general.” The resistance is rising.
