Republicans are cutting Medicare, Social Security, the Department of Education and… in person town halls? Yeah, you read that right. Speaker Johnson has told his caucus to skip in-person town halls, because voters in even deep red districts are pissed off and demanding answers. Republicans are loud as hell and cutting funding left and right in Congress, but refusing to go home to their districts and speak with their constituents. Can’t say I’m shocked. Their policies are just screwing over working class people like us, and they know that! That’s why they’re refusing to hold town halls, and that doesn’t sit right with me.
