In the US, states have the right to disenfranchise voters, purge voters and employ numerous other tactics. Some states have made it inconvenient to register to vote. Some states have unequipped polling places that force voters to stand in line for hours to vote. What WHITE community do you think would tolerate that? In Massachusetts, we've been registered for so long, we don't pay attention as we should, but you can register if you have a drivers' license, can register online, and so on. We have supported ABSENTEE BALLOTS and EARLY VOTING that have increased voter turnout - shouldn't the goal be increased voter turnout?
