The good news is that despite Trump’s right-wing oligarch friends spending billions of dollars to buy CBS and anoint Bari as their queen MAGA savior, their ratings are in the gutter. The MeidasTouch Network is destroying them in views and engagement and it’s not even close. I want to make a statement right now to CBS and Bari Weiss heading into the new year with your help. Since Bari Weiss launched her career comeback on Substack, I want the MeidasTouch to take away the number one spot on Bari’s Substack, which she started in 2021. 60 Minutes used to be appointment television for me for decades. The in-depth interviews with newsmakers and people of interest, were second to none. The investigations into important matters, helped drive the national debate. I have stopped watching a show I loved because of the way it has gone from island onto itself to being under the thumb of right wing censorship.
For decades they have complained about the so called liberal media and its bias against conservatives, which was simply journalism based on facts. They have now corrupted a news organization with conservative bias and lost credibility.
Right with you. My husband and I watched it every Sunday night. No more.
And it pains me to skip it.
Lots of shows on PBS especially on Friday night. PBS no longer has anything to lose since they were stripped of Federal money for the most part. And you can donate to them!
I increased my donation, better to PBS than a politician.

60 Minutes was fascinating and trustworthy for most all of my life until Trump controlled it. I think it’s safe to say there are no more mainstream media sources worthy of time, except PBS. I don’t watch any of them. They are untrustworthy. Independent news is the only source for me.

We know boycotts can work. Disney/ABC learned this just a few months ago after suspending Jimmy Kimmel. The takeover of CBS merits an equal or even greater response. In the name of Stephen Colbert and all that is good, I challenge each of you to boycott any and all CBS/Paramount offerings, including NFL Football and college sports.
We are going to win. Stick together for what is right in this world. I don’t understand a lot of politics but I know a cult when I see one. My own family included. They are horrible people morally and ethically. Even if this has been going on for years he is to stupid to continue on. Everyone involved needs to be removed and prosecuted.
