41 days until obscure election that will cost Dems everything

 

In 41 days, Pennsylvania will hold an election that could cost Democrats everything: the obscure but critically important November 2025 Pennsylvania Supreme Court election. A loss for Democrats here means giving up on ever holding power in Pennsylvania again. It will mean MAGA’s election rigging tactics get a court sanctioned rubber stamp enabling them to cheat and win in key swing state Pennsylvania in the 2026 midterms and 2028 presidential election. MAGA is laser focused on winning this race while Democrats, rightfully focused on the 2026 midterms, have largely ignored this race putting us on track for defeat. Defend our Courts has refused to accept this outcome, now our efforts are paying off, with massive voter contact efforts led by our great team: Over the course of this weekend, over 50 canvassers, some traveling from as far as New York city and Virgina, descended upon Philadelphia to knock a total of 10,000 doors.  In the four months since we launched our initiative to salvage this race we’ve reached a total of 1,000,000 voters with our digital ads and door knockers. The majority of Democratic voters we speak to are happy to turnout out to the polls in November but had no idea this obscure election was occurring until we contacted them.  This bodes well for Democratic prospects in this race but with only 43 days remaining until election day we are in a race against the clock to turnout as many Democratic voters as we can.  We’ve calculated the average cost of getting a Democrat to vote in this election to be $55 - in campaign jargon this is our cost per vote (CPV).  Given that the outcome here may be determined by a few hundred or even a few dozen votes every single vote will count.
